History of LERG
1937 – Lignoza Joint Stock Company (Spółka Akcyjna "Lignoza") in Katowice begins the construction of a new production facility in Pustków (completed by 1939), operating as "Lignoza" S.A. Katowice – Pustków Plant.
1950–1955 – Intensive development of the plant, including the launch of production of various new products: urea adhesives, resol resins, baltols, phenolic molding compounds, as well as urea and melamine molding compounds.
1966–1970 – Commissioning of a polyester resin production facility and a new production department.
1992 – ZTS ERG was transformed into a sole-shareholder joint-stock company wholly owned by the State Treasury.
2004 – Mr. Marian Kwiecień became the new private owner of the company.
2006–2007 – Construction of a second polyester resin production facility. Launch of a finely ground novolac resin production line. Commissioning of a reactor for the production of waterborne resins.
2009 – The company was renamed LERG.
2014 – LERG S.A. acquires Marpol S.A., a packaging manufacturer located in Ignatki near Białystok.
2015 – Marpol S.A. acquires 100% of the shares of Pabex.
2016 – Marpol S.A. acquires 100% of the shares of GTX Hanex Plastic Sp. z o.o.
2019 – LERG S.A. acquires 100% of the shares of Permedia S.A.
2020 – LERG S.A. acquires 100% of the shares of Izo-Erg Sp. z o.o.
2021 – LERG S.A. acquires Ciech Żywice (renamed Sarzyna Chemical) and Elana PET.
2023 – LERG S.A. acquires shares in the German company Webutex Kunststoffbearbeitung GmbH.
2025 – LERG S.A. acquires 100% of the shares of Dafo Plastics Sp. z o.o.
